Deep Tissue Massage
Therapeutic in nature, as opposed to relaxing. Deep tissue massage works
deep into the muscle tissues, along and across the fibers. These slow, deep
movements are used to release muscles, aid in the reduction of scar tissue,
and increase range of motion. This type of massage is designed for
individuals wanting more detailed bodywork on specific muscle groups.

Hot Stone Massage
This ancient Native American treatment utilizes smooth basalt river rocks that
are heated to dissolve muscle tension, induce a feeling of warmth, and an
overall sense of relaxation. The warm, smooth stones are applied to the body
using the traditional Swedish massage movements. The Native Americans
used these stones in their healing ceremonies to induce deep relaxation and
enhance well being. You too will feel this way when you leave.
