Gentle Yoga
Based on the Kripalu yoga tradition cultivating awareness to breath and inner
peace. This class offers yoga stretches, postures (Asana), and breath work
(Pranayama). Both strength and flexibility are enhanced in this class. The class is
designed for students looking for a slower paced, non-strenuous class, in a non
heated room.  

Prenatal Yoga
Offered in an 8 week series.   Prenatal Yoga is an ideal preparation for labor and
birth. This class will help strengthen the body in preparation for birth & help alleviate
many of the discomforts of pregnancy. It is a safe and effective form of exercise that
allows you to connect to the wonderful experience of pregnancy. You may start at
any time during your pregnancy. Postures are modified for all three trimesters of
pregnancy.

Tai Chi
Tai Chi enhances the flow of positive energy within you to balance body, mind, and
spirit. The graceful movements are simple to perform, and they call for softness
rather than strength, so that anyone can practice Tai Chi.  The movements are
performed regularly to enhance your physical and mental well-being.  Tai Chi
improves coordination and increases the suppleness of the joints and muscles as
well as regulates breathing and pulse rates.  This reduces stress and leads to a
relaxed, refreshing sense of calmness.
